6 Desperate People Smuggle 22 Kg of Sabu-type Narcotics

Siaran Utama. The 22 kg methamphetamine package from Malaysia which was smuggled into Indonesia was successfully thwarted by the Directorate of Criminal Narcotics at the National Police Bareskrim. Bareskrim Polri's Director of Narcotics Crime, Pol Brigadier General Eko Daniyanto, said his party also arrested six perpetrators in this case.

The six actors, ZNL (47), TMS (39), MWD (34), HSN (46), SD (35), and JNL (29). However, until now the police are still pursuing a fugitive with the initials BM who is suspected of playing the role of controlling the network.

Then, the next day, Monday, December 10, 2018, it was the turn of SD (35) and JNL who were taken away from the development of four suspects who had been arrested earlier. They were also arrested in the Aceh region.

Here SD has the role of picking up a sabu package from the middle of Manyak Payed waters, Aceh uses a fishing boat. Then, the illicit goods are handed over to JNL. "The primary role is to pick up drugs in the middle of the sea," he said.

As a result of the actions of the perpetrators imposed Article 114 paragraph 2 juncto Article 132 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, Article 112 paragraph 2 juncto Article 132 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of capital punishment, life imprisonment, or criminal jail for at least six years and a maximum of 20 years and a minimum fine of Rp1 billion and a maximum of Rp10 billion plus one third.
